Andrea never expected to find a fairy dragon named Kay in the cookie jar she won in a contest. Even though Andrea loves dragons, she doesn't believe that dragons exist and has a difficult time believing Kay is real or a "dragon".

She dotes on Mr. Sprinkles like a spoiled child and always overlooks any bad thing he does (such as the constant shredding of her friend's legwarmers).

Andrea just wants a normal life but things keep happening to keep it from being that way.
