Happy KayOh life, you crazy thing - July 13, 2008

Yes, I got a little behind again (deja vu?). Spring quarter ended well with straight A's. But then some real life stuff came up and well...yeah. I'm not going to go into it, but it was stressful.

In today's comic I drew in a detailed background. Now you can start to really get an idea of what Andrea's kitchen looks like.

Website Stuff: I still want to add the forums, but I need to update them first with a newer version, but I don't actually know how to do that and am trying to decide on what forum to use. I was trying to use phpbb, but other people are recommending Simple Machines. Supposedly my web provider has a forum tool as well, so I might look into that one.

I have the buttons made and ready to go for when I add a forum and online store. I just need to get the actual forum and store put together first!

I plan to update other parts of the site as well (such as the char descriptions, the story page, etc).

Other Stuff'ums: There's so much I need to get done! I'll do my best to get everything finished and update the comic more frequently!

Oh, and I designed the shot glasses for Otakon this year. I haven't seen the final product, but I think they'll look awesome! You can see what the designs look like on my Deviant Art page.

Reminder: I have some stuff for sale on etsy, including some Kay prints and bookmarks. I'll be adding more to it soon!

Happy KayYay it's May! - May 05 2008

Yes, I got a little behind again. I think I put too many action lines in panel 2. I might play with it later. We get to see Kay in this one! ...And Melanie is first to run when there's any sign of trouble.
Fun fact: Melanie does ballet and soccer!

Website Stuff: I think I'll go ahead and add the forums soon (as early as this weekend). I wanted to make an awesome skin for it, but I still have no clue how. So, I might change the layout of the forum as I figure it out.

Oh, and I came up with a quick solution to my news problem, so it's not as annoying to update now!

Other Stuff'ums: My birthday is coming up this month, and I already know what my parent's are giving me. I'm so excited, I just can't wait!! XD

I'm trying to redo my main portfolio site (because I want to rely on Deviantart less) and HOMG it's a pain. I want it to look a certain way, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to do it. I have limited web design knowledge at the moment, so it's like swimming upstream during a flood.

I got my comic in the mail a little over a week ago and it's awesome!! My comic is in the middle of the anthology, so the book opens up riiight to it. XD
If you want to order the anthology to see my To Catch a Human comic, it's for sale at the dimestoredistro. It's a family-friendly issue, too!
I'll probably continue that series, but I'm not sure when. XD;;

Happy KayTokio Hotel is awesome - April 06 2008

I totally thought about copy and pasting the second panel for the 3rd one, but I decided to just draw it out. I think I might've drawn it a little small though.

School Stuff: Spring quarter has started and I shall be learning how to use Illustrator and InDesign. In InDesign, one of the projects will be to make a book. :D So, lots of work ahead.

Other Stuff'ums: Tokio Hotel's song "Ready, Set, Go!" is awesome. I keep playing it on my iPod. Bill Kaulitz is pretty awesome, too.

Still no anthology comics yet. I wonder if he's sent them or what. :( I want to see my To Catch a Human comic in print. Maybe frame one, too. I might need to email him. >_>

Oh! I ordered some japanese fashion mags from amazon.co.jp. It was pretty easy to order from them. :) I got April issues of Kera, Cutie, Popteen, Ageha, Nicola, Love Berry, and Pichi Lemon. They came with some cool freebies too!

Mr. Sprinkles ShockedHappy Easter! - March 22 2007

Happy Easter everyone! We got bunny-shaped Kit-Kats for Easter this year. I like to eat them by the ears first.

Well, at least she's updating a little more frequently. We'll see if she gets faster at this.

Mr. Sprinkles ShockedHuggable Kay - October 18 2007

Remember that Kay stuffed doll that was commissioned? It's almost finished, and it looks adorable from the photos we've seen.

We're very excited at its progress, and we can't wait to see it finished!

We're also working on a few surprises, so keep checking back! :)

Mr. Sprinkles ShockedFwuh, Updates? - September 17 2007

Ho shi-, she updated! She actually updated!

We'll see how long this lasts.

Heh heh Oh, and I've applied to a full-time position at the Help Desk. Wish me luck and hope that I get it!

Yeah, it's more work (and less time to poke Aqua to get her to update), but it means more money and health benefits! ...And I could finally get a parking space on campus (why don't they add more parking? Seriously, it's ridiculous).
